Description

Blue Origin is hiring an experienced aerospace structures engineer to own the full lifecycle of structural hardware for New Glenn’s second stage and payload accommodations, from requirements definition and concept development through design, analysis, testing, qualification, manufacturing support, and launch-vehicle integration. The role focuses on primary and secondary metallic and composite structures, spacecraft structural integration, supplier and cross-functional coordination, structural analysis using hand calculations and finite element methods, technical documentation, test execution, and mentoring other engineers. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least six years of aircraft, spacecraft, or launch-vehicle structures experience are required, along with U.S. work authorization under export-control rules.
