Cline is hiring a senior software engineer to build and improve the runtime, orchestration, tooling, evaluation, and product systems for its open-source AI agent platform. The role focuses on agentic workflows, reliable tool invocation, model routing, inference, caching, streaming, debugging, and production-quality agent systems, while partnering with product, design, research, and open-source contributors. Candidates should have at least five years of software engineering experience, strong product engineering and technical leadership or management experience, and familiarity with production languages and LLM patterns.
