Description

Rumor is hiring a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer for client Wurknow. The role involves building an AI agent product from the ground up, developing Python/FastAPI backends, React/TypeScript interfaces, PostgreSQL databases, LLM integrations, APIs, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and production incident handling. The engineer will also mentor 1–3 developers, make architecture decisions, and track AI performance and costs. The position requires 7+ years of software development experience, including production AI/LLM experience, and offers guidance and mentorship to a small team.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 7+ years of professional software development experience
1–2+ years of experience building and supporting AI/LLM features in production

Experience supporting production applications, including monitoring, incident handling, and root-cause analysis
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with RAG, embeddings, and pgvector
Experience with LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, or MCP
Experience with LLM testing, monitoring, and cost management
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Docker, and CI/CD
Experience with multi-tenant SaaS applications
Experience in staffing, HR tech, payroll, or workforce management
Knowledge of SOC 2 or similar security and compliance standards
