Mindrift is seeking experienced software developers for a project-based opportunity focused on creating and evaluating benchmark tasks for AI coding agents. The role involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing intermediate-state coding tasks and acceptance criteria, writing functional and integration tests, and refining tasks based on QA feedback. Candidates need 8+ years of software development experience, proficiency with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, Postgres, Kafka, Redis, testing, and English at B2+ level. Work is paid per accepted task, with tasks estimated at about 30 hours and compensation up to the equivalent of $150 per hour.
