Mindrift is seeking experienced software developers for project-based work creating and evaluating benchmark tasks for AI coding agents. The role involves building realistic simulated developer environments, designing solvable coding tasks and evaluation criteria, writing functional and integration tests, and refining tasks based on QA feedback. It requires 8+ years of software development experience, proficiency with Python/FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Docker, Postgres, Kafka, Redis, and English proficiency at B2+ or higher. Participation is project-based rather than permanent employment, with tasks estimated at 30 hours and compensation paid per accepted task, up to the equivalent of $200 per hour.
