Macmillan is hiring a Senior AI Engineer (Full-Stack / Applications) to design, build, evaluate, deploy, monitor, and operate production-grade, cloud-native AI applications. The role spans the full lifecycle of AI-powered features, including model integration, inference and evaluation pipelines, automated testing, reliability, incident response, and technical leadership. Candidates should have strong software engineering and AI expertise, with deep experience in at least one area such as React and TypeScript, Python and cloud systems, or applied AI and MLOps. The position is remote but tied to Macmillan’s New York office and offers a base salary of $200,000 plus eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program.
