Metaforms is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to own the design, development, and continuous improvement of production AI agent systems for research operations. The role focuses on agent harness architecture, long-context and cascading-error handling, evaluation infrastructure, production monitoring, regression testing, and human-in-the-loop workflows. Candidates must have built production agentic systems, at least four years of engineering experience including one year focused on LLM or agent systems, frontier-model API experience, strong Python skills, and a solid grasp of context engineering and evaluation methodology.
