Censys is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its SOC/TH team focused on AI and large language models. The role builds and scales AI-powered search, recommendations, workflows, analytics, and LLM/RAG capabilities on the Censys Platform, while collaborating with product, frontend, and data engineering teams. Candidates need at least five years of software engineering experience, including two years building and scaling AI-powered user-facing features, along with Python, RAG evaluation, prompt engineering, secure AI, CI/CD, and model optimization experience. The position is remote within the United States or Canada, with salary ranges of $179,000–$201,000 USD plus bonus and equity for high-cost areas and $148,000–$192,000 USD plus bonus and equity for other locations.
