Description
The Senior AI/ML Data Engineer will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms supporting vector search, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, large language model applications, and Agentic AI. The role covers data architecture, governance, cloud infrastructure, MLOps, observability, cross-functional integration, executive communication, and technical leadership, with hybrid work in Washington, DC or Reston, Virginia. The position requires 20 years of relevant experience, an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph, and expertise in Python, SQL, cloud platforms, distributed systems, and AI data systems. The stated pay range is $242,000 to $305,000, and the position is contingent upon program award.
