Description
Microsoft is hiring a Senior AI Software Architect for its AI Systems Architecture group to define, validate, and optimize next-generation AI systems across hardware, software, and cloud-scale deployment boundaries. The role leads end-to-end software architecture and performance optimization for AI accelerator platforms, prototypes capabilities across kernels, compilers, runtimes, distributed training and inference frameworks, and serving infrastructure, and analyzes large-scale workload behavior to guide hardware-software co-design and production system solutions. The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least four years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; security screening is required, and the typical U.S. base pay range is USD 165,600 to USD 296,400 per year.
