KLA is hiring an Optical Metrology Research Scientist in Israel to conduct research and development of algorithms for next-generation optical metrology of semiconductor devices. The role involves defining challenges, researching feasibility, developing solutions, qualifying and testing algorithms, implementing them on tools, and collaborating with internal and external personnel. Candidates need a Ph.D. or M.Sc. in engineering, physics, applied mathematics, or a related field, relevant industry experience, and proven signal or image processing experience; algorithm development with MATLAB or Python, optical systems or microscopy, and semiconductor industry experience are advantageous.
