D-Wave is hiring a Senior Algorithm Researcher to develop and improve high-performance optimization solvers and quantum-accelerated services. The role involves designing and implementing advanced heuristics and exact algorithms for large-scale combinatorial problems, leading technical initiatives, contributing to solver and open-source framework architecture, and collaborating with product, engineering, and professional services teams. Candidates need a graduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, at least five years of applied algorithmic and optimization experience, solver development experience, and proficiency in C++ and Python. The base salary is targeted at CAD 150,000–206,000 per year.
