Via is hiring a Senior Algorithms Developer to design, build, and scale high-performance distributed systems for transportation, routing, and navigation. The role involves end-to-end feature ownership, Golang APIs, geometric and graph algorithms, Python and Java server applications, performance optimization, and geographical-data analysis. Candidates need a BSc in Computer Science or equivalent, at least four years of software development experience, strong distributed-systems and system-design knowledge, and experience with cloud platforms; an MSc, Python, and AWS experience are advantageous.
