Description
Wabtec is hiring a Senior Analyst – Direct Sourcing (Commodity Operations) in Bangalore, India, to support global sourcing initiatives across machined and engineered components, rubber, plastics, sealing products, and fabricated and fluid-handling components. The role manages RFQ/RFP execution, supplier engagement, commercial and quote analysis, savings validation, inflation mitigation, PPAP tracking, sourcing governance, dashboards, KPI reporting, supplier performance analysis, and reporting automation. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, supply chain, or a related discipline, 3–5 years of direct sourcing or commodity management experience, and hands-on RFQ, supplier engagement, and commercial evaluation experience; advanced Excel is required and Power BI is preferred.
