Opal is hiring a Senior Android Engineer to build and own features and interactions in its Android productivity app, close the gap with iOS, and help shape the platform's architecture and quality standards. The role includes end-to-end feature delivery, A/B testing, Play Store releases, policy compliance, workflow and AI-tooling improvements, and collaboration with design and product. Candidates need at least five years of Android app development experience, strong Kotlin and Jetpack Compose expertise, startup ownership experience, and the ability to work with AI workflows.
