Verkada is hiring an Android Platform Engineer to build and maintain the company’s native mobile foundation. The role owns the Jetpack Compose component library, CI/CD and release infrastructure, offline-first networking, hardware connectivity protocols, and the type-safe bridge between native and web components. It requires 6+ years of Android development, strong Kotlin and SDK knowledge, mobile tooling and test automation experience, networking expertise, hardware connectivity experience, and Google Play release-cycle experience. The position offers onsite collaboration with hardware and firmware teams, visa sponsorship, and an estimated annual on-target earnings range of $150,000 to $265,000 USD.
