Fairphone is hiring an Amsterdam-based Software Engineer to lead the integration of partner-specific software into its Android ecosystem. The role involves designing integration layers, coordinating with ODMs and external partners, managing technical timelines, resolving hardware-software issues, and maintaining open-source and production code. It requires 5+ years of Android experience, proficiency in C/C++ or Rust, Java, and Kotlin, and knowledge of Android Enterprise, EFOTA, and related integration workflows. The position offers a 32–40-hour contract starting 01.08.2026, with a possible extension to permanent employment and a hybrid work model.
