D-Wave is hiring a Senior Application Developer for its Government Business Solutions team to develop and optimize Python applications for quantum computing systems and customer-facing solutions. The role involves building algorithms, custom applications, and open-source tools; collaborating with business stakeholders; delivering projects with commercial value; and working with D-Wave’s LEAP cloud service and Ocean software. Candidates need at least five years of Python experience, strong mathematical and algorithmic skills, Git experience, federal-agency experience, and a current or obtainable US Government Top Secret security clearance.
