The Hanover is hiring a full-time Senior Application Engineer for its software development team in the Worcester office. The role is fully in-office or hybrid, with remote work locations considered, and involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining full-stack software using React.js and Spring Boot. The engineer will collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA, product owners, and stakeholders; participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies; mentor junior developers; and contribute to engineering standards and process improvements. The posting requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or 7+ years of professional software development experience, along with 5+ years of professional software development experience and 3+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience with React and Java.
