Checkmarx is hiring a senior Application Security Analyst in Braga to support its Security Research group. The role focuses on analyzing vulnerabilities in open-source and proprietary code, improving application security analysis engines and product accuracy, scripting and using AI to automate internal processes, supporting product features, and collaborating with Product Management and R&D. Candidates should have 3–4 years of security analyst or researcher experience, secure code review experience, strong AppSec and OWASP Top 10 knowledge, Python or similar programming experience, familiarity with interpreted and compiled languages, and basic security research, bug bounty, and penetration testing experience.
