Thought Machine is hiring a full-time, permanent Security Engineer for its Lisbon office, requiring four days per week onsite. The role leads product security across the software development lifecycle, including application security design, threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, security testing, privacy and regulatory design, security tooling, and cross-functional collaboration with development and infrastructure teams. Candidates need programming-language expertise, DevOps security experience, web application penetration-testing and security-tooling experience, distributed-systems knowledge, cloud and container knowledge, and experience with security design reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments.
