Description
The Applications Engineer will understand customer application needs, recommend product configurations, provide solution consulting, support qualification testing, document customer issues, identify product improvements, and provide feedback to R&D. The role also includes remote and on-site technical support, demonstrations, training, knowledge transfer, and mentoring junior team members. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, optics, or a related technical field, with a master’s degree or Ph.D. preferred, and at least five years of applications engineering experience involving spectroscopy, customer application support, solution consulting, product qualification, technical training, and cross-functional collaboration.
