Description
STMicroelectronics is hiring a Senior Applications Engineer focused on Design Enablement to support customers designing high-speed optical interconnects for AI infrastructure, including 1.6T, 3.2T, and higher data-rate optical engines. The role bridges foundry customers and ST’s process technologies, including Silicon Photonics, SiGe BiCMOS, and advanced packaging, by providing PDK and IP support, training design teams, leading technical calls, developing reference designs and application notes, and supporting product tape-out and production ramp-up. Candidates should have experience in silicon photonics, high-speed RF or SiGe BiCMOS, or CMOS image sensors, with a BSEE requiring 12+ years of experience or an MSEE/PhD requiring 6+ years of experience. The base annual salary range is $173,100 to $216,400 USD.
