Description
QuEra is hiring a senior founding AI engineer to build and ship internal AI tools and LLM- and agent-powered software, establish reusable technical patterns, and raise the engineering bar across the company. The role owns projects end to end, partners with engineering, hardware, operations, and other teams, creates shared components and infrastructure, optimizes models for cost, latency, and reliability, and mentors teammates. It requires deep software-engineering expertise, substantial LLM and agentic-systems experience, strong architectural judgment, and high autonomy; a quantum-computing background is not required. The approximate base salary is $175,000-$210,000, with equity grants for new hires.
