Klipboard is hiring a senior engineering leader to turn large language model experimentation into reliable, scalable engineering practice. The role combines hands-on work designing prompts, context strategies, agentic workflows, and evaluation harnesses for AI features, with responsibility for coaching engineers, establishing standards, building reusable assets, and measuring quality across R&D. It requires several years of production software engineering experience, substantial LLM experience, evaluation expertise, and evidence of growing other engineers. The role is hybrid, with three days in the office and two days from home, and involves travel between Klipboard’s UK and South Africa offices.
