Cardboard is hiring a Senior Applied ML Engineer to own AI quality for its agentic video editor. The role focuses on building evaluation datasets, offline and online evaluations, regression checks, model selection, fine-tuning, and feedback loops that convert production failures into measurable improvements. The engineer will define quality standards, analyze agent failures, partner with product and engineering teams, and track AI quality alongside latency and cost. The position is based in Bengaluru, India, and requires experience with customer-facing LLM or agent systems, TypeScript or Python, and AI quality systems.
