Description
NVIDIA is hiring a Senior Applied Research Engineer, Accelerator Algorithms to conduct applied research and architecture work for algorithms on its Programmable Vision Accelerator (PVA). The role involves characterizing autonomous-vehicle and physical-AI workloads, developing and optimizing PVA algorithms using SIMD, VLIW, memory-aware scheduling, and vectorized execution, prototyping and benchmarking performance, and translating insights into requirements for hardware, compilers, SDKs, profiling tools, and systems software. The engineer will collaborate with research, compiler, SDK, systems, and hardware teams and communicate technical findings.
