Description
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Applied Scientist for its Azure Speech team to develop multilingual speech models, speech LLMs, model customization, and multimodal generative AI for real-time transcription, voice agents, video translation, and call centre analytics. The role owns technical direction, data generation and analysis, model quality, customer solutions, patents, publications, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on India. It is an on-site position requiring a CS, EE, or related degree, 8+ years of relevant experience, strong Python or C++ skills, and experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing.
