Description
Oracle is hiring a Senior Applied Scientist for its OCI AI Evaluation team to independently own end-to-end evaluation of foundation models, AI agents, and enterprise AI systems. The role translates product and customer needs into measurable hypotheses, designs benchmarks and experiments, builds Python evaluation pipelines and automated evaluators, analyzes model behavior and failure modes, develops human-evaluation workflows, and produces decision-ready reports. It requires a relevant PhD or equivalent degree, machine-learning and generative-AI experience, Python proficiency, and strong communication and collaboration skills. The role offers a US hiring range of $114,600 to $234,600 per annum and includes medical, dental, and vision insurance.
