Description
Microsoft is hiring a Security Researcher for its Applied Threat Intelligence team to use AI to track threat actors, analyze attacker tradecraft, translate technical findings into guidance, build threat-intelligence pipelines, and represent Microsoft in customer and industry briefings. The role requires a relevant advanced or bachelor's degree plus 3–6 years of experience in software development, large-scale computing, threat analysis, cybersecurity, vulnerability research, or anomaly detection, with additional experience in threat intelligence, attribution, reporting, Microsoft Sentinel or Defender XDR, adversary analysis, and programming preferred. The position offers a typical U.S. base pay range of USD $102,100–$202,200 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
