Coherent Corp. is hiring a Senior Process Development Engineer to lead development engineering for high-power CW lasers, high-speed photodiodes, and co-packaged optics. The role oversees chip-on-carrier assembly and package or module development, collaborates with manufacturing and contract manufacturers, analyzes reliability and test data, performs thermal or thermomechanical modeling, and supports product yield and quality. The position requires a master’s degree or higher in a relevant field, at least five years of industrial engineering development experience, and is based on-site in Fremont, California.
