Description

Alcon is seeking a Senior Associate II, Accounting & Reporting to join their Finance, Accounting, & Audit function. This role involves managing end-to-end Record to Report (RTR) activities, preparing financial statements, conducting reconciliations, and supporting audits. The ideal candidate will have extensive RTR experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
Required Previous Experiences: 5–7 years of RTR experience in a Shared Services or multinational environment, supporting end‑to‑end RTR processes.
Strong experience in month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end accounting close activities.
Preferred Qualifications: professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA, or equivalent) preferred or in progress.
Solid understanding of IFRS, company accounting policies, and audit requirements, with hands-on experience supporting internal and external audit requests.
Exposure to regional or global stakeholders and ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
SAP closing and reporting experience is an advantage;
strong Excel skills required.
Good knowledge of internal controls and compliance standards.
Proven ability to meet SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards with a strong attention to detail and audit-ready mindset.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrates ownership, accountability, independence, and a proactive continuous improvement mindset.
