Description

L3Harris Technologies is hiring a Sr. Associate, Level 2 for its COTS Procurement team in an on-site role in Palm Bay, Florida. The position manages the full purchase order lifecycle, sources and evaluates suppliers, negotiates terms, prepares RFQs and purchase order packages, ensures FAR/DFARS and trade-compliance requirements are met, and resolves supplier issues. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of two years of related experience, and must be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; alternatively, a graduate degree or equivalent with 0–2 years of related experience, or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 2 years of prior related experience for candidates with a bachelor’s degree.
0–2 years of prior related experience for candidates with a graduate degree or equivalent.
At least 6 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications: Four years of experience with MRP/ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Continuous improvement background or Lean Six Sigma, data analytics, APQP, PPAP, supplier risk management, or supplier category management knowledge.
Moderate knowledge of supply chain’s influence on orders, sales, profit, and cash flow.
Ability to develop supplier performance and risk-mitigation action plans.
Proactive problem-solving and strong decision-making ability.
Ability to meet performance goals and deadlines in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
