Description
The employer is seeking a (Senior) Automation Engineer to support a client in Heilbronn with the digital automation of document and logistics processes. The role develops and operates n8n workflows, applies AI and rule-based methods to classify and extract data from shipping, transport, customs, and other documents, validates document completeness and consistency, integrates systems through REST APIs and webhooks, and monitors and optimizes automation performance. The position requires a relevant degree, several years of professional experience, extensive n8n and enterprise automation experience, logistics and customs knowledge, strong documentation and problem-solving skills, and fluent German and English. The assignment is temporary staffing with possible mobile work and above-tariff compensation.
