Description
Andromeda Robotics is hiring a senior Autonomy Engineer to build, deploy, and improve the safety-critical autonomy stack for Abi, a humanoid robot operating in aged care, healthcare, and other human-centric environments. The role covers motion planning, SLAM, collision avoidance, perception integration, hardware debugging, fleet operations, cloud and robot-front-end integration, systems engineering, Isaac Sim simulation, validation, and technical leadership. Candidates need 5+ years in autonomy for autonomous vehicles or mobile robots, production experience with ML-based autonomy, strong modern C++ and Python skills, robotics algorithms and classical control knowledge, and experience with large-scale performance-critical distributed systems. The position is based at Andromeda Robotics; salary is unspecified, and visa sponsorship is generally not offered.
