Skydio is hiring a Computer Vision Software Engineer to architect and implement real-time computer vision algorithms for its autonomous drones. The role focuses on estimation, mapping, tracking, classification, and detection; performance characterization; research and prototyping; and general software support. Candidates should have hands-on experience with visual odometry, state estimation, mapping, and SLAM, along with proficiency in probabilistic inference, 3D geometry, C++, deep learning, and software engineering. The position offers an annual base salary of $170,000 to $277,500, with benefits and incentives for full-time employees.
