FYUL is hiring a Senior Back-End Software Engineer for a six-month assignment on its Payments sub-team. The role focuses on e-commerce financial operations, including tax calculations, VAT processing, invoicing, audit preparedness, and the development of precise, compliant back-end systems. Responsibilities include scalable code development, product collaboration, code reviews, refactoring, testing, bug fixes, and platform improvements. The position requires at least five years of backend development experience, proficiency in PHP or Node.js, expertise in high-load architecture, distributed systems, domain-driven design, and CQRS, and familiarity with the listed PHP, database, cloud, and DevOps technologies. The role can be performed remotely or from the Riga office.
