Spotify is hiring a Senior Backend Data Engineer to design, build, and scale backend and data systems for content intelligence across audio, video, text, and images. The role owns significant engineering projects from architecture through implementation and operation, develops high-throughput and cost-efficient distributed systems, contributes to AI and LLM infrastructure, and collaborates with engineering, product, and technical stakeholders. The position is based in London or Stockholm and offers flexibility to work from home with some in-person meetings.
