The Backend Engineer will own and scale backend systems for a fast-growing product company, focusing on reliable performance under high demand and a direct impact on the global product experience. The role requires Python fluency, strong API design, database modelling, cloud-platform experience, production-system maintenance, and strong communication and collaboration skills. Startup or high-growth experience is advantageous, while familiarity with Python/FastAPI, AWS, and Postgres is a plus.
