Spenn Group is hiring a Senior Backend Developer for its Backend & Infrastructure team at its office in Oslo. The role owns the design, implementation, reliability, and production operation of high-throughput, event-driven backend services supporting a Nordic loyalty platform and partner integrations. Responsibilities include Java and Kotlin development, Kafka-based event processing, PostgreSQL and DynamoDB data management, API and microservices architecture, observability, code quality, and technical leadership. The position requires a relevant degree or equivalent experience, several years of backend development experience, strong Java or Kotlin proficiency, distributed systems knowledge, cloud and CI/CD familiarity, and professional Norwegian and English proficiency.
