Description
Movable Ink is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Behavioural team to design and implement distributed, event-driven backend systems that detect customer activity patterns, correlate signals, maintain stateful context, and generate automated marketing triggers. The role owns feature delivery from design through production support, establishes reusable trigger patterns, and ensures reliability through observability and incident response. Candidates need at least five years of professional software engineering experience, strong distributed-systems and event-processing expertise, Kafka and gRPC proficiency, ClickHouse experience, and cloud-backend experience; Rust or Elixir and Customer Behavioural Tracking SDK experience are preferred. The base pay is CAD 140,000–180,000 per year.
