Description
Senior Backend Developer role in the eCommerce payment processing space focused on re-architecting legacy Perl/crontab file-processing pipelines into a modern Python-based system. The engineer will own workflow orchestration, observability, data ingestion to S3 and PostgreSQL/RDS, and processing/reconciliation of daily payment scheme files such as Visa and Mastercard clearing, settlement, and chargebacks. The role is remote from Poland on a contractor basis or onsite in Cyprus on an employment arrangement, and requires strong Python, AWS, orchestration, and relational database experience.
