Legend is hiring a Backend Engineer to build and operate complex backend platforms for its global sports and gaming portfolio. The role owns architecture, APIs, integrations, production performance, technical roadmaps, and engineering standards while partnering with product and business stakeholders. It requires strong Node.js and TypeScript skills, experience with domain-driven design, API-first development, and multi-tenant systems, along with the ability to mentor engineers and influence technical decisions. The position pays €6,000 per month and includes an annual discretionary bonus, paid annual leave, and other benefits.
