Description
Sofka U is hiring a Senior Backend Developer to join the Banco Pichincha team in Quito. The role involves designing and developing secure, scalable, highly available backend services; implementing event-driven architectures and integrations with Kafka; building REST APIs; testing; managing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps; deploying to OpenShift and Kubernetes; and mentoring junior professionals. The position requires at least four years of backend development experience and expertise in Java, Spring Boot, .NET 10, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and scalable system design. It is an on-site contract under a services agreement or as a contractor.
