Afya is hiring a remote Backend Developer for its Medical Practice Solutions division to evolve its healthcare technology platform. The role involves building secure APIs and integrations, monitoring and testing services, contributing to technical roadmaps, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and efficient backend systems. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, Python experience with frameworks such as Django, Restless, DRF, and FastAPI, knowledge of AWS and serverless development, relational-database and testing expertise, and familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and cloud monitoring.
