Description
The employer is hiring a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer focused on backend development for a scalable edtech marketplace connecting families with educational providers. The role involves designing and maintaining Ruby on Rails solutions, solving performance and concurrency challenges, leading technical initiatives, mentoring team members, participating in AWS infrastructure migration, and collaborating with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams. Candidates must have recent main-project Ruby on Rails experience, a track record scaling large complex products, expertise in performance and architecture, experience leading projects or technical teams in e-commerce, marketplaces, or large-scale digital platforms, advanced English, and current residence in Argentina. The position is full-time, direct-hire on the client’s payroll, 100% remote with occasional visits to the client’s office in Argentina, and pays USD 5,000–6,000 per month.
