Description

Unity is hiring an Ads Privacy Engineer to own critical consent, opt-out, and data-subject-rights services from design through production. The role handles high-throughput request routing, GDPR and CCPA enforcement, deletion orchestration, auditing, and collaboration with legal, privacy, machine learning, and data teams. It requires experience with low-latency APIs, distributed backend services, Golang or Java, cloud and Kubernetes operations, Kafka, and event-driven systems, with a base salary of CAD 125,300–165,330.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience designing low-latency APIs and distributed backend services in production at high QPS
Hands-on experience operating cloud services with Kubernetes and container orchestration
Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven system design
Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and key-value stores including Postgres, MongoDB, and Redis
Experience collaborating with machine learning or data teams to bring models and pipelines into production
Preferred Qualifications: AdTech experience and knowledge of IAB frameworks such as TCF
Background in privacy, trust and safety, or fraud detection
Understanding of global data and privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA
