Payabl is hiring a Senior Python Backend Developer (Services) to design and build reliable, scalable microservices, modernize legacy PHP, Perl, or JavaScript systems, and extract business logic into maintainable Python services. The role focuses on API engineering, data integrity, idempotency, error handling, testing, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes, with an onsite position in Cyprus and relocation support. Candidates need at least five years of backend engineering experience, strong Python and FastAPI expertise, database and testing experience, and strong English communication skills.
