The Backend Engineer will design, implement, and optimize systems for mission-critical applications, including the Inventory Savings product that helps customers save money on restaurant supplies and ingredients. The role requires Java proficiency, familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, cloud platform experience, knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems, and strong debugging and problem-solving skills. It is an onsite, full-time position in Seattle with a base salary of $167,000 to $230,000 per year and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
