ClearPoint is hiring experienced Senior Backend Engineers for upcoming contract opportunities in Auckland or Wellington. The role involves designing and delivering robust, scalable services for clients, working in a hybrid model with three days per week onsite at a client site, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Required experience includes Java and the Spring ecosystem, RESTful APIs and microservices, automated testing, CI/CD and DevOps tooling, and public cloud platforms. Frontend technologies, AI tooling, and LLM-based development workflows are nice to have. Candidates must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
